Exact Replacement Part for Whirlpool / Kenmore / KitchenAid Dryer door switch # 3406105 for new model dryers. This is a 3 wire door switch that plugs directly in to the dryer wire harness. If this switch is bad, the dryer won't do anything as it cuts the power off when the door is opened. Sometimes you can tell the old door switch is bad because it doesn't "click" when you press in on the actuator paddle (or it's physically broken). Alternate part numbers include: DE6105, 3405104, 3405105, 3406104, WP3406105, and ER3406105.
